  1. There was a time when I wasn’t in control of a lot of these things – intrusive thoughts, eating disorders, captivity, etc. So being able to read a list like this and realize that some of those things are now behind me and I am in control again is a really wonderful feeling.

  2. This is so true! It’s so important not to stress over things and let them ruin our lives when we have no control over them! We should focus on what we DO have control of. Thanks, Jessica! πŸ™‚

  3. Jess, this was absolutely fantastic and incredibly true!! In the past I was a little bit of a control freak, only because I wanted things to work perfect for everyone. I was also the fixer with my mother, anytime she had a drunk episode I went behind to make it all better. As I have grown, I know everyone has to be responsible for themselves and nothing can change that! You my dear sweet friend are so brilliant and full of great advice!!!
