Dream Chasing: One Step At A Time!!

People pray for the cake but then God gives them the batter, eggs, oil, icing, a pan, an oven and they get frustrated and leave the kitchen. Let that sink in. Sometimes you have everything right in front of you, but how bad do you want it?

Keep that concept in mind while chasing any dream or trying to reach goal you’ve set. Very rarely do we ask God for something and He just freely gives it to us. I truly believe that most of the time instead He gives us the opportunity to actually work for it and earn it!

Today my focus is on encouraging people to chase their dreams and confidently go after the life they really want to live. A dream doesn’t necessarily mean it has to be something that’s going to make you celebrity famous. It could be something like finishing your college degree, finding a job that’s a part of your career path or opening your own business. In my case, it’s to be my own boss, at my own business and be very successful with it. I want to answer to nobody but myself and I also want to have the opportunity to take vacays as much as I’d like! Therefore, I’m putting in the work and prayer to ensure that it happens!

There are so many people out there who are so gifted, talented and anointed by God to actually live out their dream but a lot of times their scared to really even get started. Fear is not only damaging but it’s detrimental if you let it overtake you.

You know what? I had an opportunity to invest into my entrepreneuring self today. It’s funny because it’s something that I’ve been wanting to invest in for about 2 or 3 years now. I’ve watched all kinds of YouTube videos over the past couple of years and I’ve just gotten really educated more about this investment and the benefits of it. I’ve been saying for the past couple of years that if I ever got the extra money to invest.. I’d do it! Well, 48hrs ago the opportunity came knocking at my door, my nerves almost got the best of me and I almost didn’t it but guess what? TODAY, I invested!! It was a faith move and a smart one. I’m so excited and I’m just so glad I actually did it! You have no idea!

I’m not telling y’all what “it” is yet but you will find out very soon!! This is what I wanna say to you though .. nothing will be perfect the first time do it, especially if it has anything to do with following your dreams. The fact that you’re actually doing it is the important thing!
