Hard Work is Great but the Condition for Success Isn’t the Same for Everyone.

Sometimes successful people make it look like they work harder than other people who are less successful but the truth is that some people are more privileged than others and they have things easier for them. Hard work is great, but the condition for success isn’t the same for everyone.

On my journey of entrepreneurship, I’ve learned that to a certain extent, it’s unfair but at the same time, it’s OK! When you have to struggle to reach a certain point of success, it teaches you to APPRECIATE it more. It’s a different type of feeling when you actually work hard for your stuff. You get to know gratitude on a much deeper level vs. if it’s just something that’s given or handed down to you and not actually earned.

For those of you who have to work extra hard and fight through many different struggles before you can get actually get to where you want to go, be encouraged. Nobody likes struggle and everybody HATES rock bottom but I promise it’ll teach you a lot of things that being at the top never will. So appreciate your valley experiences for they will benefit you later in life. ACCEPT the small wins until you can reach the bigger ones. Set a goal, plan measurable objectives and make progress step by step.

If God put a goal, dream or vision on your heart, then you need to be passionate about it. Go after it wholeheartedly and remember that HE gave you that desire so you could complete your destiny and reach YOUR destination. If it’s in your heart, then it’s most certainly there for a reason. Don’t let people tell you otherwise. You can be just as successful with your dream as other people are with theirs!! IT IS POSSIBLE. You are not limited by where you come from, by what family you were born into, by your environment, dysfunction… the only thing that holds you back is fear and sometimes even the lack of self-discipline and consistency.

Consistency is already hard but it’s even harder when no one is clapping for you. However, it is vital and absolutely necessary! You gotta learn how to clap for yourself during those times. You should literally always be your biggest fan. Keep working hard for what you want and eventually you’ll get to where you’re trying to go. Some of you are going to be celebrating something very soon!! Some of you are going to cry some VERY happy tears this year!! You’ll be so full of joy and happiness sharing your good news. It’ll almost seem out of this world how suddenly it happened for you. Be ready for it. Expect it. As long as you put the work in, it’s totally going to happen!!

  4. I’m receiving all of these positive vibes. I’m also clapping for myself and for you. I’m believing for the amazing things to come and that we don’t get caught up in the distractions that make us overlook or essentially stop to notice the rose in bloom on our path.

  5. Thank you so much Jessica for this great advice! Every word you wrote, I agree with 100%! I do believe good things come to those that believe in the positives of life. Often we all get caught up in what isn’t going the right way and can become consumed with negative thoughts. I think when all we believe is negative, that is what we will get.
